2026 ROSE CITY LIVE AWARDS
How your
choice counts.
Nominate your favourites
Nominations are free and open through November 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern. No sign-up is needed. Submit one choice in each category you want to enter, and return in the same browser to update it while nominations are open.
Nominees should be based in, operate in, or primarily serve Windsor-Essex. Local Event and Most Windsor-Essex Moment entries should relate to 2026. Best New Business is for businesses that opened in 2026 and are operating by the nomination deadline.
The finalist ballot
The organisers review submissions for eligibility, combine duplicate business or performer names, and approve the finalist ballot. Nomination totals inform that review. Finalists appear publicly after the organisers publish the ballot.
The target is four finalists per People’s Choice category. Voting opens November 11 after the finalist ballot is approved, and closes November 22 at 11:59 PM Eastern. Organisers can adjust a phase if needed; the current status is shown on the site.
Your browser. Your saved choices.
You may vote in any or all 18 People’s Choice categories without creating an account. An essential cookie remembers your browser for up to 60 days. Your latest saved choice in each category is the one that counts; updating it replaces your earlier choice.
Please submit only one ballot per person. Browser-based duplicate checks and submission limits help reduce repeat entries, but do not verify a person’s identity. Clearing cookies, using a private window, or switching browsers or devices creates a separate browser record and will not show your earlier choices.
A ticket purchase is not required to nominate, vote, or win. Each People’s Choice winner is the eligible finalist with the highest valid vote total. Sponsors and ticket purchases do not influence the count. Results remain private for the live reveal on November 28.
Rose City Community Hero
Nominate someone and tell us what they have done for the community. Approved finalists appear on the public ballot alongside every other category, and the community votes for the winner.
Your privacy
The site stores your nominations, selected finalists, timestamps, and a random browser identifier in its database. The essential cookie connects this browser to those saved choices. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or password to participate.
Short-lived request counters help limit automated submissions. These counters use hashed identifiers rather than storing raw network addresses. Your saved choices and nomination stories are not published. Organisers can review nomination submissions and aggregate vote totals; only approved finalist information appears publicly.
Nominating or voting does not subscribe you to marketing emails. For privacy questions or a correction or deletion request, contact the event organiser through Frozenbrick.ca.
